The first-year honours admission tests of Dhaka University (DU) for academic session 2016-2017 will begin on Friday with the entry exam for the Business Studies faculty under “Ga-Unit” (C unit).
The one-hour test will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am at 53 on- and off-campus sites, said a DU press release on Tuesday.
A total of 29,954 candidates have applied against 1,250 seats under the unit.
The release also said that the admission test (general knowledge) of Fine Arts Faculty under “Cha-Unit” will be held on 16 September (Saturday).
As many as 13,476 aspirants have applied against 135 seats under the fine arts faculty.
Admission tests under “Kha-Unit” will be held on 22 September while admission tests for drawing under “Cha-Unit” are scheduled to be held on 23 September.
“Ka-Unit” admission tests will be held on 13 October and “Gha-Unit” (combined unit) tests for science, business studies and humanities group students will be held on 20 October.
The applicants are prohibited from carrying any kind of electronic device, including mobile phones or any communicable devices, during the exams. The seating plans for the admission tests can be found on the university’s admissions website: admission.eis.du.ac.bd.
